(NASHVILLE, TENN.)— New Haven Records recently announced the much-anticipated return of Joshua’s Troop to gospel radio with their new single, “It’s My Time,” co-written and produced by Percy Gray, Jr. (New Direction, Chicago Mass Choir).
Originally founded as a youth choir to provide urban Chicago teens a positive alternative to gang and street life, the Troop’s electrifying blend of contemporary, R & B, and hip-hop influences resulted in the smash radio hit, “Everybody Clap Your Hands,” a Stellar Award nomination, and hundreds of thousands of YouTube views.
To date, the group has generated more than seven million views on YouTube of nearly 100 video performances. Manuella Morris, the group’s manager comments,
